 Read the Weekly Highlights for 7/2nd-10th on their own page if you want more critical insights into the week ahead. Maybe it is time for you and your partner to have a nice heart to heart about your financial situation. Maybe you are dating more than one person and both want to get serious. And maybe your best friend really needs you now and your presence is the elixir for all that ails them. But back to the partnership thing. If you aren’t married but are dating someone seriously, having Venus move into your 7th house is definitely going to give you a lot of fun times. Uranus has been messing with your home life for a few years now, and while he is retrograde, you will get a chance to come to terms with all the changes this planet has wrought upon your abode and family. Some of you may have experienced the exhilaration of independence, leaving home during the past few years, but now as this planet retrogrades back you could find you are very nostalgic to be back amongst your people. Some of you may even have to go back home due to the economic conditions which have deteriorated. Uranus here is not subtle. Often this planet elicits huge alterations in our way of life, or an attraction to a person, or in your case, more likely a lifestyle that no one who has known you a long time can contemplate you belonging in. Since the 4th house rules homes, perhaps you have always lived near water, but now you find yourself living in a desert. Maybe you preferred a bohemian, communal living style but changed to a more solitary existence. And some of you might have suddenly purchased a home, or a major item for your home, and now you are having buyers remorse . Whatever the case, rethinking your current lifestyle or family situation may be a necessity. Speaking of family situations, you may have suddenly lost or gained family members during the last few years. While Uranus is retrograde you may have time to regret, or be truly inspired, by these additions and subtractions in your household. And some of the folks could be extremely strange or gifted to boot, so life certainly won’t be dull, even during the retrograde. The lunar eclipse on the 7th is falling in your house of value systems and earned income. Pluto has entered this house in your solar chart as well, making the money you have coming in, as well as your ethical system, a pretty important focus in your life. Now with the lunar eclipse landing here, my guess is you could have some personal financial issues to deal with or an ethical dilemma to mull over. I’m going to go back to the Pluto thing here though too Sadge, because even though this eclipse is not falling directly on Pluto to highlight it, there is a Yod configuration (“the finger of God” in astrospeak) pointing at Pluto which is conjunct your solar house Mercury. You may be obsessed with learning something of a financial nature now. Or, you may be getting a lot of psychic backwash…finishing other people’s sentences, knowing what they are going to say before they say it, getting weird feelings about people, then voicing the “pure truth” a little more plainly than makes others comfortable. In fact, if someone is trying to swindle someone else, you very well may be able to discern this and get yourself in hot water because of exposing them. Just be careful my friends, this is a pretty big energy and can pan out a number of ways, some of them dangerously. People being obsessed with you is also a potential… As if this weren’t enough, there is a solar eclipse too…on the 21st. And damned if this one doesn’t fall on your financial axis as well. This time in the house of “other people’s money”. Usually a partners, but if you work in a capacity where you handle another’s finances, from being a bank teller to being the executor of a will, this will speak to your role as well. This house is one of the more dark and creepy houses in some ways, as it rules obsessions [SEE ABOVE]. Watch yourselves please. This house also rules your sex life…addictions…inheritances…taxes and that sort of thing. This eclipse is in Cancer, which rules “the masses”, mom’s, immediate family, real estate, as well as fluid resources. Lots of different potentials here. Pay special attention to the matriarchs of the world, and in your own world. The good thing is, solar eclipses are not usually as personal as lunar eclipses. I forgot to mention in the "Monthly Highlights", with all the other hubbub going on, that the “miracle configuration” as I have deemed it occurs on the 10th, due to Jupiter and Neptune both being retrograde and running into each other again. You know…miracles like the little girl found alive after the Yemen plane crash… And keep watching for the small miracles too. The energy is there, and many will be blessed by it.
